TPA S.p.A - technologies and products for automation

TPA SpA
A dynamic
partner
Incorporated in 1971 with the object of designing electronic equipment for industrial applications, TPA grew rapidly to become a sizeable manufacturing concern, capable of offering products and technological solutions at the leading edge, and a complete range of consultancy, design and training services.
In recent years, the company has been implementing a constant and no less rapid process of innovation aimed at improving its products, making full use of all the opportunities that continue to flow from new electronic and information technologies.
By using PC based platforms and universally available software technologies, TPA has been able to offer the market cutting-edge systems with high levels of flexibility and openness, conducive to the realization of customized and optimized turnkey solutions with minimal dedicated hardware. Systems that cost less, while delivering increased reliability, safety and security.
This continuing evolution has translated into a strategy of encouraging professional growth among technical staff, and into a policy of collaboration and partnership with customers, fostered by a rolling programme of training and instruction.
In this context, TPA is now established as a notably dynamic and innovative organization able to offer products and services across a broad spectrum, in the field of control systems for industrial automation and Computerized Numerical Controls (CNCs) for machine tools, robots and flexible machining centres, as well as consultancy, application-oriented design, systems integration, IT support and after-sales services.
As testimony to the quality and innovative content of the company's technology, TPA has since 1988 been a Laboratory accredited by the Ministry for Scientific and Technological Research (MURST): Application Design activities with a strong innovative content, commissioned by SMEs, qualify for the benefits envisaged under article 4 of L.46, with grants of up to 50% available to meet the expenses sustained.
TPA is structured in such a way as to maximize the human resources dedicated to R&D, Application Design and Customer Support; the company employs a technical staff of over 20, including graduates and holders of diplomas.
Future strategies will see the company engaged increasingly in the realization of open system architectures incorporating off-the-shelf componentry and SW products, and in the development of "user-free" software platforms able if necessary to accommodate personalization features developed directly by customers; this will favour the adoption of "problem oriented" solutions which besides being highly flexible are also easy to maintain and update.
